About
Ash Sayedi, UK based Astrophotographer
I started astrophotography a few years back just using basic equipment - my phone! I quickly bought myself a second hand DSLR and wide angle lens and ran off to Dorset. I learnt how to use the correct camera settings for landscape milkyway photography and took some basic shots. The next step was a star tracker, a small device that rotates with Earth’s rotation allowing longer exposures. I then Astro modified cameras to capture the red nubulas seen in the Milkyway Galaxy (see ‘Cygnus’ in shop). I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do. Please see further on this page how we print and frame the prints!
All my images have been taken in the UK (Dorset, Wales and Scotland).
Printing and framing partners
Framing and printing quality
Prints and posters can be framed — without an internal window — with a conservation quality, bespoke frame made from sustainably sourced wood. All materials in our framed prints are archival and acid free.
Frames are sent without an internal window (common for astrophotography) so the detail and colours are not affected by glare or reflections. If you would like non reflective glass please contact us and this can be made to order :)
Available in 20mm width, Flat Bespoke Frames offer a simple and traditional framing option for your prints. The Flat moulding range is available in brushed wood finishes and is the only profile that also includes Smooth finishes with Black and White mouldings available.
All frames are bespoke and made to order - Frames include backing tape.

All framed prints are printed on Canson Infinity Rag Photographique 310gsm paper. This is a 100% cotton museum grade white Fine Art and photo paper. The exceptional smooth white tone is achieved during manufacturing by introducing natural minerals to the process. It has been developed to address the need for continued longevity requirements in the Digital Fine Art market.
Rag Photographique offers a unique extra smooth surface with a sensual feel. It also provides one of the highest achievable Dmax currently available on the market, making it ideal for fine art photography as well as fine art printmaking.
Unframed prints are printed on Hahnemühle Photorag. The super matt finish of Hahnemüle Photorag makes this paper one of our most popular papers amongst artists, illustrators & photographers alike. The paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction, and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. It has a delicate surface, so we recommend extra care when handling.
